Even more updates

I have totally updated the site to include details of ALL my prior publications, complete with links and extracts! Check it out.

I also completely forgot to include something in the last update: the amazing collaborative pamphlet I released along with Jessie Whiteley (one of my FAVOURITE artists in Glasgow, possibly the world) in 2020. It’s called Sound of two black hoodies swallowing each other in the rain, and it’s a reliving and a celebration of teenage emo life in the early 2000s. It’s available to buy from Good Press and I honestly think these are some of the best poems I’ve ever written.

‘Shared drawing and poems to make in response to one another over lockdown period. Both responding to the heightened aimless teenage nostalgia lockdown was giving us and the awks romance of the local parks we were hanging around in when using up our outside time allowance.’ – Jessie Whiteley

Hello, all.

It’s been a little while, but I’ve revamped the site with some updated photos and information.

I also have some updates on my work at the moment that I’d like to share!

You can now find my poem ‘Sick Day’ in SPAM’s Chips & Cheese edition, two eco-poems titled ‘My Life As A Seagull’ and ‘Year With No Hairbrush’ in the free online zine Xylem/Phloem, and my short story ‘Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Weekend’ in the University of Glasgow’s From Glasgow to Saturn journal.

On Wednesday, I read some poems at Soft Shell, an event celebrating the work of MLitt Creative Writing and MLitt Art Writing students at University of Glasgow and GSA. Photo credit @shehzardoja.

I’ll soon have an exciting announcement about a further publication to make, and I plan to update this site more regularly with reviews and non-fiction pieces.

In other news, I’m currently baking like a little raisin in the sun.
